A little over a year ago, my pastor gave the congregation an assignment. She was ministering on the promises of God and she asked us to retrieve every scripture in the bible containing "in Christ/through Christ". I did a search on Bible.com and the results were astounding. I am no bible scholar and only recently started reading the Word regularly. As I gain a better understanding, of what I possess and who I am in Christ, I am transforming. My mind is being renewed and I understand more about the love God has for me. I refer to it sometimes when I need to be reminded just how much God loves me and all He has given me. Sometimes we forget what our salvation affords us. So, here is a reminder:
I am dead to sin, but alive in to God. (Rom 6:1-11)
I have eternal life. (Rom 6:23)
I do not live in or under condemnation. (Rom 8:1)
I will never be separated from the Love of God. (Rom 8:39)
I glory in my service to God. (Rom 15:17)
I call on the name of the Lord and he has called me to be holy & sanctified. (1Cor 1:2)
I have wisdom from God and I have righteousness, holiness, and redemption. (1Cor 1:30)
I have wisdom. (1 Cor 4:10)
I have ten thousand guardians & one father. (1 Cor 4:15)
I have all the promises of GOD. Amen (2Cor 1:21)
I stand firm and GOD anoints me. (2 Cor 1:21)
I spread the the fragrance of the knowledge of GOD. (2 Cor 2:14)
I do not live under the old covenant. (2 Cor 3:14)
I am a new creation. (2 Cor 5:17)
I am reconciled to the father, my sins and my past are not counted against me. (2Cor 5:19)
I am justified by faith in Jesus Christ. (Gal 2:16)
I am a son of GOD. (Gal 3:26)
I am one with all in Christ Jesus. (Gal 3:28)
I have been set free and I am no longer burdened with the yoke of slavery. (Gal 5:1)
The only thing that counts is my faith expressed in love. (Gal 5:6)
I am blessed with all spiritual blessings. (Eph 1:3)
I have wisdom and understanding of the mystery of God’s will. (Eph 1:9)
I am marked with a seal, the Holy Spirit. (Eph 1:13)
I am seated in heavenly places, far above all principalities, powers, mights, and dominion. (Eph 2:6)
God has expressed his grace and kindness towards me. (Eph 2:7)
I am GOD’s workmanship created to perform good works. (Eph 2:10)
I have been brought near to GOD. (Eph 2:13)
I am an heir to the promises of GOD. (Eph 3:6)
I will be kind and compassionate to others, forgiving others. (Eph 4:32)
My joy will overflow. (Phil 1:26)
I put no confidence in my flesh. (Phil 3:3)
I have righteousness from God by faith. (Phil 3:9)
I have peace that surpasses all understanding, & guards my heart and mind. (Phil 4:7)
I press heavenward toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me. (Phil 3:14)
All my needs are met according to GOD’s glorious riches.(Phil 4:19)
I have grace and peace. (Col 1:2)
I have been given fullness, power and authority. (Col 2:10)
My reality is found in Christ (Col 2: 17)
I will give thanks in all circumstances. (Thes 5:18)
The grace, love and faith of our Lord has been poured out on me. (1Tim 1:14)
Before the beginning of time God called me to a holy life. (2 Tim 1:9)
When I suffer God will restore me and make me strong, firm and steadfast. (1Peter 5:10)
